Parents can enjoy a night out while kids have fun learning about their environment! The theme of these evenings will be discovering about the reasons behind the change of seasons. Art projects, games, a night hike, and star and planet gazing through a telescope will be included.
Children will take home crafts and activity sheets each week, meet program animals Scaly and Slimy, and learn how to build a fire.
September 23: Why and how do the leaves change color? What happens to the flowers and fungus?
September 30: Which birds migrate and where? What are the different methods animals use to store food and hibernate?
The pizza dinner provided will include: cheese pizza, carrot sticks, Ranch dressing, and lemonade. A popcorn snack will also be served. Please feel free to pack additional food or drinks.

The instructor, Amalia Fernand, has a Master of Science in Ecological Leadership and Education and has worked with children around the world. She founded Nature Explorers International with the mission to: inspire excitement and curiosity for the environment through art, science, and outdoor experiences.
